Member Sought for Fair Housing Task Force
The St. Lawrence County Fair Housing Task Force (FHTF) currently has a vacancy for a representative from a religious organization, or a faith-based charitable organization. St. Lawrence County is looking for persons who are interested in fair housing policy, and who have a concern for housing issues facing county residents.
The FHTF consists of 13 members, including an ex-officio member from the County Planning Office. The FHTF sponsors training sessions for landlords and tenants on fair housing rights, and discusses countywide housing issues and ways to help improve equal access to housing in St. Lawrence County communities. Meetings are held quarterly (four times a year) on the fourth Tuesday of the month of February, May, August, and November at 10:00 a.m. both in person and over Zoom. For additional information about the FHTF visit:
