Land Use Regulations in SLC Map Tool

Welcome to the Land Use Regulations in St. Lawrence County Map Tool!

 

This map tool provides the user with information on local land use regulations, local boards, and municipal contact information. Below is a guide on what this tool provides. Find the link to the map tool at the bottom of the page.

 

This tool has nine (9) layers:

  • Municipal Contact Information - Clicking a municipality opens a table in the top right that provides a phone number to the municipal clerk's office, and the physical address to the municipal office building. It also provides a mailing address if it is different from the physical address.
  • Planning Board - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have a Planning Board. Clicking on a municipality opens a table in the top right that provides a link to the local Planning Board webpage. Some municipalities may have a Planning Board but may not have a webpage. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have a Planning Board.
  • Zoning Board - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have a Zoning Board. Clicking on a municipality opens a table in the top right that provides a link to the local Zoning Board webpage. Some municipalities may have a Zoning Board but may not have a webpage. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have a Zoning Board.
  • Solar Laws - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Solar Laws. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Solar Laws. Some municipalities have Solar Laws within their Zoning Regulations. Click on the Zoning Regulations layer for the link. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Solar Laws.
  • Zoning Regulations - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Zoning Regulations. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Zoning Regulations. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Zoning Regulations.
  • Subdivision Regulations - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Subdivision Regulations. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Subdivision Regulations. Some municipalities have Subdivision Regulations within their Zoning Regulations. Click on the Zoning Regulations layer for the link. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Subdivision Regulations.
  • Site Plan Review Regulations - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Site Plan Review Regulations. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Site Plan Review Regulations. Some municipalities have Site Plan Review Regulations within their Zoning Regulations. Click on the Zoning Regulations layer for the link. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Site Plan Review Regulations.
  • Telecommunications Towers Laws - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Telecommunications Towers Laws. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Telecommunications Towers Laws. Some municipalities have Telecommunications Towers Laws within their Zoning Regulations. Click on the Zoning Regulations layer for the link. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Telecommunications Towers Laws.
  • Wind Laws - Highlights in light grey which municipalities have Wind Laws. Clicking on a municipality will bring up a table in the top right that has a link to the local Wind Laws. Some municipalities have Wind Laws within their Zoning Regulations. Click on the Zoning Regulations layer for the link. Municipalities highlighted in dark grey with red names do not have Wind Laws.
