SLC Hazard Mitigation Plan
St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services Bureau of Emergency Management maintains a Hazard Mitigation Plan in accordance with the Disaster Mitigation Act of 2000 and Title 44 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Part 201 which incorporates assessment data, hazard vulnerabilities and mitigation actions.
Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan
St. Lawrence County Office of Emergency Services Bureau of Emergency Management maintains a Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan which includes prevention/mitigation, readiness, response, and recovery. The development of this plan included an analysis of potential hazards that could affect the county, and an assessment of the capabilities existing in the County to deal with potential man-made or natural hazards. Authority to undertake this effort is provided by both Article 2-B of State Executive Law and the New York State Defense Emergency Act.
EMS Mutual Aid Plan
Mutual Aid is organized, supervised, coordinated, cooperative, reciprocal assistance in which personnel, equipment and physical facilities of all participating EMS departments, regardless of type or size, are utilized for emergency medical situations or other public emergency in which the services of emergency medical staff would be used throughout the County of St. Lawrence and adjacent areas.
